Ziva is a new way to meet people, together. Instead of going solo, Ziva lets you create a group with your mates and connect with other groups nearby. Whether it's for a night out, an event, or just meeting new faces. Ziva makes it feel natural.
Why we exist
Apps got lonelier. We're fixing that.
In England, 9% of 16–24 year olds report feeling lonely often or always — more than any other age group (UK Community Life Survey 2024/25). Across the Atlantic, the U.S. Surgeon General has called loneliness an epidemic. Time spent in person with friends has fallen 45% for teenagers since 2003.
And here's the part that bothered us most: in 2023–2024, while everyone else recovered post-pandemic, young people's in-person time kept falling. Solo dating apps, by their very design, didn't help. They got lonelier. More transactional. More serious. More pressure on date one.
Ziva is built on the simple, stubborn idea that we meet people best when we're with our people. So: bring your crew. Match a crew. Get out the door together.

Other apps want to know what you are by date one. We don't. Whatever Ziva becomes for you — friendship, dating, a story — it starts with having a good time.

It's the structure. Group-first is safer than solo by definition. Verified profiles, active moderation, and a Report button on every screen.

We're a small, independent team. We're building for the UK first — Hackney, Hove, Manchester, Glasgow, everywhere in between — because we live here and the way people meet here is what we know best. Other countries later.
